During the 2001 April riots in Cincinnati groups of protestors would move from spot to spot in the part of town locally known as Over The Rhine. The authorities decided that no protestors would be allowed south of Central Parkway and used mounted cops to enforce this. At one of the demonstrations a young boy approached the mounted cops as if to taunt them. One of the people working as monitors in an effort to defuse any potential violence moved quickly and took the child away from possible trouble. |
